Global Empathy

The Global Symposium is still reeling from Alan November's presentation Saturday evening on Empathy as a 21st Century Skill. As we come together for sessions with presenters and attendees from Ireland, Australia, Trinidad, China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, England, Germany, Spain, Italy, the U.S. and so many more locations, the idea of global empathy for culture and education and contributing to one global humankind is so palpable.....so incredibly possible.....if not in our lifetimes than in the lifetimes of our children and grandchildren.....it is an incredibly exhilarating time to be alive and to be an educator! Thank you to each and every one of you participating in the 2010 Global Symposium. As we kick off the workweek we look forward to the theme of global empathy continuing to underscore everything we learn and discuss these nine days!
